Standard Alliance Insurance Plc has entered into a partnership with Veda Technologies to provide cover for all laptops earmarked for the National Youth Service Corps’ members in a campaign slated to kick off in Abuja soon.
Its Group Executive Director, Mrs. Rhe Emerhor-Iwuagwu, in a media parley in Lagos, said the insurance to be provided was against damages, noting that the company will play the key role of taking care of the bills for repairs of the lap tops or total replacement as the case may be.
She said: “We at Standard Alliance Insurance Plc recognize the selfless service of Corp members to their fatherland and feel one of the ways to encourage them to render good service was to take away that extra burden of bearing the cost of fixing their much needed lap tops whenever they go bad,” stating that “this will ensure that Corp members are not unduly put out of pockets with the stipends they earn.”
She seized the opportunity to congratulate the management of Veda Technologies for appreciating the importance of such a laudable lap top ownership package for Corp members, noting that the management of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc found it easy to partner with them as they both share common youth empowerment concerns.
Speaking on behalf of his organisation, General Manager, Sales Veda Technologies Yusuf Abideen, said “We sought to partner with Standard Alliance Insurance Plc because we have known the company as a dependable one on its commitment to claims payment and integrity. We are sure Corp members are in safe hands when it comes to genuine claims settlement.”
