The first set of Airtel customers to benefit from Airtel Insurance package have received hospitals claims through the insurance plan, a product which offers life and hospitalisation insurance with increasing benefits based on monthly airtime recharge.
The beneficiaries, Augustine Peters, Adeniji Owolabi and MrOjo Aderogba, were at the headquarters of Airtel Nigeria, Banana Island, Ikoyi, recently to receive their claims.
Airtel Insurance was introduced some months ago by Airtel Nigeria in collaboration with MicroEnsure and Cornerstone Insurance Plc., with the aim of providing affordable insurance policy to Nigerians.
