It is a season of
awards for Goldlink Insurance Plc as foreign and local organisations have
continued to reward its outstanding performance.
One of such firms
that recognised the underwriting firm's excellent performance is Capital
Finance International, a UK-based Finance Magazine, which announced Goldlink
Insurance as the Winner of its Best Underwriting Team Nigeria 2014 Award.
The firm said the
award was as a result of the uniqueness of the Insurance Policies the company
underwrites to meet the needs of the insuring public and its customer-centric
philosophy.
According to the
judges, “our winner, Goldlink Insurance takes pride in settling claims promptly
and focuses strongly on customer care. Compliance and risk management here is
first rate and the panel considers this company a very worthy winner”.
In the same vein,
Global Banking and Finance Review has announced Goldlink Insurance Plc winner
of its Best Non-Life Insurance Company of the Year while Goldlink's Managing
Director/Chief Executive Officer, Gbolahan Olutayo clinched yet another Best
Insurance CEO Nigeria 2014 on the same platform for his outstanding performance
as the CEO for bringing stability and progress to the company since he assumed
leadership in 2012.
The
organisers of the yearly Awards, Global Banking and Finance Review, also a
UK-based Online Finance Magazine with readership in over 230 countries, said
the Awards were created to honour companies of all sizes that stand out in
particular areas of expertise within the banking and finance industry globally.
The
awards recognize the innovations, investment strategies, achievements,
progressive and inspirational changes within the financial sector. The
judging panel scrutinizes the company nominations and selects winners using a
wide range of criteria.
Coming to our own
shores here, Organisers of the Nigerian Risk Awards 2014, Conrad Clark – an
Enterprise Risk and Management Consulting Firm, has also presented Goldlink
Insurance Plc First Runner-Up Award under the Organisational Award Category for
Risk Management. This was announced as the Judges Highly Recommended Award at
the recently held ceremony that took place at Civic Center, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
While reacting to
the various recognition of excellence, Olutayo who was notably excited said
this is just the beginning for the company as the company will not rest on its
oars but will strive to become even better.
He said, Goldlink in
her strive for excellence in corporate governance is now a member of the
International Compliance Association, UK which goes to show that the company is
setting the pace for excellence across all frontiers.
It will be recalled that Goldlink Managing
Director/CEO, Mr. Olutayo was earlier this year announced as The Insurance Man
of the Year 2014 on the platform of BusinessToday Online, an Online Business
Magazine based in Lagos while Goldlink Insurance was named the Most Innovative and Impactful Insurance Company of the Year Award by
Nigerian Brands Awards.
