2015 TRAINING PROGRAMMES
As part of our objects, the firm of Adegboyega Adepegba & Co, Legal Practitioners and Trainers, will among others co-ordinate the following high flying Training programmes for Company Secretaries, Lawyers, Compliance Managers, Insurance Lawyers e.t.c in 2015.
There will be three (3) major Training programmes for the year. It is expected that the programmes should essentially afford participants the opportunities of further exposure to new trends in Corporate Legal Practice and provide the chance of networking and sharing ideas with other lawyers/ individuals from other sectors of the Nigerian Economy, and beyond.

INSURANCE LAWYERS’ FORUM. – THE ECONOMY, INSURANCE AND THE LAW.
SYNOPSIS
Consistent with our determination to provide a fresh forum for Company Secretaries,Legal Practitioners and Compliance officers e.t.c  in the Business of Insurance, the 2015 edition of the Insurance Lawyers’ Forum, will hold in February 2015.
This programme is to be facilitated in conjunction with the Nigerian Insurance Law Association (NILA).

SYNOPSIS
Shareholders have important rights which they can exercise to influence or even determine the corporate interest of the company. This independence can in turn have significant effect on the position of the Directors. The Directors, also answer for the failures of their companies and are liable for financial distress or scandals that may arise in the cause of the business.

SYNOPSIS
This Seminar will focus on implementing effective, best practice, practical solutions and strategies to meet the new age Company Secretary’s challenges
Course Description
Board and Management need the right support to enable them to be effective. and this will require high quality, relevant and timely support, information and advice to enable the Board  make decisions and set goals. The Executive team and in particular the Company Secretary play a key role in supporting the Board. This course is therefore for the modern day Company Secretary, who desire to embrace the change in the role and responsibilities of a all stakeholders in the Company.
The course will explore the role of the Company Secretary such as; 
An adviser to the Board to ensure that Board intentions and policies are aligned and functioning correctly;
An active participant with the Board and Directors to ensure good corporate governance and Board effectiveness;
