LASACO supports Lagos State Security Trust Fund

LASACO Assurance Plc, has underscored its commitment to remaining socially relevant and a good corporate citizen through a strong focus on Corporate Social Responsibility.
In a statement on Friday, the Group Managing Director of LASACO, Mr Olusola Ladipo-Ajayi, said that the company placed huge premium on its involvement in projects that would impact positively on the society.
Ladipo-Ajayi stated this when the company donated the sum of N2m to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
He said, “Corporate social responsibility is one of the strategic areas the company intends to accomplish its vision to be a market leader in insurance and financial services in Nigeria, creating and sustaining an exceptional brand and providing long-term value to our stakeholders.”
The group managing director said the LASACO brand was one that was solidly predicated on societal development and improving the lots of the entire citizenry.
He said security was one area that was highly crucial to the people and this was one area to contribute meaningfully to safeguard lives and property.
Ladipo-Ajayi asserted that the company was in strong partnership with the Lagos State government as the company shared the vision of the state to engender growth and transformation in all key sectors of the economy.
According to the statement, the vision sharing by LASACO manifested in previous projects to revamp the educational sector in the state by supporting the government, when the company built a set of classroom blocks and computer room at Majidun in Ikorodu and also rehabilitated the staff block of the Community Senior High School, Ipakodo.
Ladipo-Ajayi pledged the company’s commitment to remaining a socially relevant brand by embarking on projects that touched the lives of citizens.
