NAICOM automates, to go paperless

Chuks Udo Okonta

The era of flooding the office of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) with volume of papers by insurance operators would soon be a thing of the past, as the commission is working hard to automate all its regulatory activities, Inspen can reveal.

It was gathered that the commission is working assiduously to ensure that the automation process pave way for a paperless environment and also speedy the rate of interaction with operators.

The completion of the automation process, it was learnt, depends on a number of issues, including how fast the consultants go about their responsibilities.

As part of the commission's re-engineering process, it has redesigned its website to make its user-friendly.

NAICOM said the new site is designed encourage more social media presence and enhance interaction with the public.
