Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Interior has developed a new electronic service via its smart phone application, UAE MoI, which enables customers to pay the financial documents and health insurance fees needed to obtain long term, short term and domestic workers’ visit visas without the need to visit the related centres and concerned authorities.
Major-General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Ministry of Interior’s E-transformation Higher Committee, said: “This new service is in pursuance of the Federal Government’s strategy and aims to streamline customers’ procedures.”
He said: “These services facilitate customer procedures and save time and effort without the need to visit service centres, health insurance offices, and banks. They can now directly obtain the required service via Ministry of Interior applications,” he said.
Major-General Al Raisi noted that this added service contributes to reducing the time needed to complete the procedures with less paperwork, in order to protect the environment, increase production efficiency, and reduce time and effort for customers to obtain their services.
