Applied Systems Introduces First-to-Market Mobile Application to UK Insurance Brokerages

Applied MobileProducer enables account executives to manage their clients and prospects on the go from a tablet

Applied Systems today announced the immediate UK availability of Applied MobileProducer, the first independent broker mobile app designed specifically for account executives. Applied MobileProducer offers insurance account executives mobile capabilities to conduct business by providing quick, wireless access to their client and prospect account details stored in Applied TAM UK 2014 and the ability to establish new commercial or personal accounts away from the office.

Applied MobileProducer’s tablet touch-screen optimised interface creates a direct link to account executives’ accounts, activities, contact details, insurance policy information and industry news feeds. Direct integration with Applied TAM UK 2014 allows users to input and manage account activities and establish new commercial or personal accounts from a tablet with up-to-date and synchronised information between the device and brokerage management system. In addition, account executives can leverage native tablet applications to access e-mail and GPS technology to map accounts and coordinate daily schedules through Applied MobileProducer.

Key benefits of Applied MobileProducer include:

Expanded book of business – remote establishment of a new commercial or personal account, including contact and activity details, ensures account executives capitalise on opportunities and document next-steps for the account in real-time while on the road;
Increased customer satisfaction and retention – by removing the need to call the brokerage office to verify information while on the road, account executives benefit from the immediate and remote access to client and prospect account and insurance information to provide more complete and timely customer service;
Improved accuracy and brokerage efficiency – seamless integration with the brokerage management system and real-time activity sync with the mobile app ensure that the entire brokerage staff has access to current account information, reducing errors and omissions and time spent on duplicative work.
“Mobile devices and continuous online connectivity are transforming the way business is conducted in the insurance industry, requiring brokers to have instant access to information to meet the growing consumer demand for flexible and timely service,” said Michael Howe, senior vice president of Product Management, Applied Systems. “The introduction of Applied MobileProducer into the UK furthers our commitment to introducing innovative, first-to-market technologies that enable brokerages to be more competitive in today’s continuously connected marketplace.”

Applied MobileProducer is available for iPad® and Android™ tablets through iTunes and the Google Play Store.

Applied MobileProducer and other Applied technologies will be featured at this year’s Applied Net Client Network Conference UK, 8-9 October at The Belfry in Wishaw, Warwickshire. Register now and join the conversation on Twitter with #AppliedNetUK.
