Activa International Insurance Company was last Saturday honoured as the best company in the Financial Services Sector (Insurance) at the Third Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Awards night held at the Banquet Hall of the State House.
The ceremony, on the theme, "Rewarding Industry to promote Made-in-Ghana Products", was organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry to reward corporate bodies who have performed significantly to promote local content and patronise made-in-Ghana goods.
Commenting on the honour, the Deputy Managing Director of Activa, Mr Solomon Lartey, said: "We at Activa feel very good about this prestigious award.
"It is a recognition of who we are and the quality we bring into the Ghanaian market. If we are offering world-class insurance solutions to over 37 countries in Africa through our Globus Network we are under obligation to do same for our own country, Ghana."
He asked Corporate Ghana, SMEs and individuals to insure their businesses, assets, property, vehicles and liabilities with Activa International as they were guaranteed confidence and peace of mind in difficult times.
Mr Lartey said Activa had earned the trust and confidence of multinational corporate organisations across the globe and was in partnership with global insurance powerhouses such as ACE, Zurich and XL to bring well-deserved, world-class insurance security to individuals and businesses in Ghana.
