Iain Macindoe, CEO of Willis Re's South African business, is the latest of a slew of senior departures at the global reinsurance broker, The Insurance Insider can reveal.
The executive is understood to have left to found his own independent intermediary in South Africa.
He has been joined by Jannie Viljoen, a Willis Re broking executive, who will help to set up the new vehicle. Sources said that the business will be christened Resilea PTY.
