A Journal with focus on insurance laws and research will soon be launched, Inspen can report.
Managing Partner, Adegboyega Adepegba & Co,  Adegboyega Adepegba, who is behind the journal, said the maiden edition of the journal entitled: The Ombudsman will be launched in the third week of March this year, adding that the journal will help bridge the information gap on issues pertaining to law and insurance in Nigeria and across Africa.

He noted that an array of contributors have been assembled from across Africa for the journal, adding that the quarterly publication is intended to be circulated across Africa, amongst insurance practitioners, institutes, companies and government agencies.

He said: “In our registration, we stated that we will engage in publications and research. The journal of insurance law is one of our contributions to enhancing the knowledge base of the industry. We hope to come out with the maiden edition by the month of March. Already, we have gotten articles and supports across Africa and outside the continent.

“We are looking at publishing well researched articles on insurance products, terrorism, microinsurance and regulation. In fact, we are starting with an interview with the Commissioner for Insurance Fola Daniel. Thereafter, we will take it out to other countries.

“The journal will be a compendium of information for insurance practitioners in Africa. With what we have at hand, it will be the journal to beat.”
