Obama defends Obamacare ahead of Supreme Court decision

Daily News

President Obama offered a vigorous defense of his signature law, Obamacare, on Tuesday, taking aim at the law’s critics ahead of a Supreme Court decision that could undermine key parts of the legislation and cost millions of families their insurance plans.
"After a century of talk, after decades of trying, after years of sustained debate, we finally made health care reform a reality here in America," Obama said at a speech to the Catholic Health Association in Washington, D.C.
“This is now part of the fabric of how we care for each other,” he continued after mocking the “doom and gloom predictions” and “chicken little warnings” of the law’s critics.
