Roughly one in five Arizonans lacked health insurance in 2011 with the number closer to almost one in four in some counties, according to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau estimates. Statewide, 19.6 percent of people under age 65 were uninsured, compared to a national rate of 17.3 percent, Census Bureau numbers found.
