A staffer of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc, Okoro Chineye Cynthia, has emerged the 2015/2016 Miss Insurance with a star prize of a brand new Kia Picarto car.
Chineye who was crowned this morning at the annual Miss Insurance Dance competition organised by the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) in Lagos, and was keenly contested by seven elegant ladies from companies in the sector, is expected to use her reign as Insurance Ambassador, to create awareness and promote knowledge on insurance.
Miss Anna Ogbodo of African Alliance Insurance Plc, emerged the first runner-up and would have five days all paid trip to Dubia, while Miss Isioma Isioma of Anchor Insurance Company Limited who emerged second runner-up was given a home theater.
Chairman of the event, Elder Gbenga Olowo, Chairman Golf View Hotel, lauded the efforts of the Institute in engaging on researches and organising events that have really unite and moved the industry forward.
He added that the institute has proven that it has social intelligence, stressing that insurance business being technical requires social intelligence to evolve products that help mitigate human risks.
Director-General of the Institute Kola Ahmed, noted that the institute has remained the unifying organ of the industry, adding that the institute has continued to carter for the needs of other arms of the industry.
He thanked companies that sponsored the event especially Staco Insurance Plc that donated the car.
