Goodwill message delivered by the president of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, Mr Kayode Okunoren, Deputy President of NCRIB, FIIN, FCIB at the investiture of Mr GUS Wiggle as Chairman of NIA held at Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

I bring the good wishes of the President of the NCRIB, Mr Ayodapo Shoderu who is unavoidably absent at this occasion. Our Council is using this medium to register our warmest congratulations to our brother and fellow professional, Mr GUS Wiggle. Without a doubt, the emergence of Mr. Wiggle as NIA Chairman will definitely usher in the envisaged harmonious and progressive relationship between the NIA and the council.
GUS has been very active in the NIA and he has risen through the ranks during which time, he acquired the required experience to succeed in this new position. He has indeed earned the respect of his peers and the entire insurance industry.
We at NCRIB know that he has the capacity and capacity to continue to steer the ship of the NIA in the right direction.
Suffice it to note that the Nigerian Insurance clients have become more demanding and sophisticated, hence the need for all operators to be more professional and cohesive in the delivery of insurance services. Irrespective of our professional divide, we must come to terms with the need to always collaborate in order to project a positive image and to collectively grow our industry.
With GUS in the saddle and now that the Joint Technical Committee of NIA/NCRIB has been resuscitated, we are confident that all our common challenges on the issues that have remained unresolved will now be Putin the front burner.
I have no hesitation in congratulating the NIA for a very good choice in this fine gentlemen whom I equally congratulate and wish a very successful tenure of office.
Long live the NIA
Long Live the NCRIB
Long Live the Nigerian Insurance Industry.
