PenCom seeks inputs on how to invest pension assets

The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has given the public up to Friday, March 6, 2015, to examine the draft amended regulation on investment of pension assets and make necessary recommendations.

A circular published on the commission's website, stated that PenCom is in the final process of revising the regulation on investment of pension assets to align it with developments in the financial markets as well as be responsive to the needs of registered contributors.

The public are enjoined to download the draft from the commission' website and send feedback via invreg@pencom.gov.ng

Meanwhile, the commission as part of its corporate strategy is carrying out Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure enhancement, which it said would help drive and support the implementation of its corporate vision.

On this note, the commission said it is desirous of acquiring computing equipment, hardware system and peripherals.
