The Commissioner for Insurance Fola Daniel has said the
National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) is partnering an insurance firm to
educate school pupils the need for insurance in their daily activities.
Daniel, who spoke in Lagos, said a firm sought approval from
the commission to conduct awareness campaign on microinsurance in schools,
adding that the commission having considered the benefits of the initiative
decided to partner the organisation to achieve the feat.
He noted that the commission will continue to support laudable
initiatives that will bring growth and development to the industry, stressing
that NAICOM has created several opportunities for companies to leverage and
better their lots.
