NEXIM Bank pledges improved insurance cover for exporters

The Nigerian Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank, has pledged its commitment toward ensuring improved export insurance for exporters in the country.

The Complaint Officer of the bank, Mrs Tochukwu Dimelu-Isana, made the pledge in Enugu in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

She said the bank would also improve its export guarantee and finance to reduce challenges being faced by exporters in order to encourage and boost exports.

Dimelu-Isana said the bank had instituted a new project known as "sea-link" to aid the transfer of goods through the sea to reduce challenges faced by Nigerian exporters.

"This is an export credit agency that facilitates non-oil export businesses. We support manufacturing companies and agro-allied business.
