As part of the modernisation under India Post project, the data of Postal Life Insurance and Rural Postal Life Insurance, Department of Posts (Government of India) will soon migrate to new software, developed by Infosys.
According to an official release issued on Thursday, policy holders of Postal Life Insurance and Rural Postal Life Insurance who were paying premium through post offices have to submit photo copies of premium payment and loan repayment pass books (PR & LRR books) at their nearest postal divisional office to get credits updated within a month.
