Be good ambassadors, CIIN president told insurers

Insurance operators have been urged to engage in activities that would portray their industry in good light.

The President Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Fatai Lawal, disclosed this today Saturday, at the Insurance Fitness Walk organised by the institute in Lagos, adding that the task growing the industry requires the support from all operators and stakeholders.

He called on operators to continue in supporting the institute and the industry by making positive contributions and also be good ambassadors, committed to the promotion of the sector.

He said the Governing Council of the institute has sustained the programme, which is aimed at showcasing the benefits of insurance. He maintained that the institute would continue to design programmes that are capable of moving the industry forward.
