How insurance can fight Boko Haram insurgents – Akinwande

Boko Haram members
There are so many Nigerian unemployed youths and many militant groups like the Oodua Peoples Congress and Egbesu. If the government had put in place an insurance cover of about N50 million each for any of these youths who volunteer to go and combat Boko Haram, we would not be where we are today, the founder Children’s Anti-Corruption Initiative Nigeria, Omololu Akinwande, has said.
While reacting to the deployment of foreign soldiers to assist Nigeria in the fight against the insurgents, he told Punch that Nigerians did not have to worry about where help was coming from at the moment, adding that the main concern should be about getting the girls back by all means.

“I don’t think there is anything wrong with the deployment of troops by foreign governments,” he said.
