The Insurance Institute of South Africa's president Delphine Maïdou says Africa abounds with opportunity for global as well as local insurers, reports allAfrica citing Fin24.
According to Maïdou, the middle class in Africa is flourishing, together with a private sector that is expanding into different nations on the continent. Maïdou said that "All these developments and growth need an African insurance industry that has the capital, capacity and capability to meet the needs of the private and public sector on the continent."
