Sudanese Insurance Company Pays SDG 28 Million to Insurers in 2013

Director General of Sudanese Insurance Company and head of Insurance Companies, Hassan Al-Sayed Mohamed, said compensations paid by the company in 2013 were more than SDG28 million. This amount represents 44% of premiums, he added, attributing the rise of compensations to losses suffered by petrol stations during the September 2013 events.

He further stated that all owners of these stations were compensated. Hassan stressed on the importance of training human resources in the field of insurance, saying his company has trained 30 of its staff internally and abroad over the last year. He valued the training output, saying average production per one staff was SDG366, 242 against SDG725, 36 in cost of training.

He valued the outcome of the training on the performance in general.
